The White-Blues eased through to the eleventh round of the Ukrainian Premier League with a 5-0 win against FC Zorya on Friday.
Dynamo pushed forward from the first whistle, and soon took their lead. The opener came in the 3rd minute. After receiving a pass from strike partner Artem Milevskyy, Ismaël Bangoura entered the area and shot the ball into the near corner. The advantage was doubled within three minutes through Aliyev’s smart free-kick.
Semin’s men kept creating scoring opportunities and managed to extend their lead to 4:0 until the interval. However, the visitors had several chances to reduce the gap in the second period but conceded the fifth goal in response. It was Roman Zozulya’s contribution to the win. The young striker converted a penalty kick after being fouled in the area.
The confident victory has put the Kyivers into a good mood before their trip to Portugal as they take on FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League group stage on Tuesday, October 21.
