FC Dynamo Kyiv newcomer Eduardo Guerrero has done his first interview as player of our club:

- I’m happy to join Dynamo. I know the club has great history, so I’m very motivated.

- Did you know Dynamo were following you?

- Signing the contract with Dynamo makes me proud. Dynamo let me realize they need me to reach their goals.

Now I’m here, looking forward to the first game. There was interest from Dynamo even before the Copa America. Now I’m focused on my performances and aim to score as many as possible.

- How did you find out about Dynamo offer?

- There’s no shortage of transfer rumors around players, so when I heard about Kyiv, I was like: “Wow, Dynamo, I want to play here!”

- What do you know about Dynamo, the history of the club?

- I know this club raised a lot of top player. One of them is Andrii Yarmolenko.

- Could you describe yourself in a few words?

- I’m a simple guy focused on career. I’m really happy we’ve agreed upon my transfer to Dynamo. What I can say about myself is that I love my family and football.

- What are your top football qualities?

- It’s the ability to score.

- What would you like to improve?

- Interesting question. I’ve got stuff to work on and I’ll be doing it with Dynamo.

- You’re going to perform in the Europa League, where Dynamo will face tough opponents – Roma, Lazio, Real Sociedad, Galatasaray and others. What do you think of these teams?

- I can’t say anything right now as I’ve never opposed them. But we have a decent team and can perform really well.

- Before signing the contract you said you’re going to score two against Lazio...

- I’ll do my best. And not just against Lazio.

- Why did you pick squad number 39?

- I’ve had this number since my debut in Panama.

- You’re well aware of the war in Ukraine started by russian terrorists. Why did you decide to stay?

- I was actually a bit scared. But I faced similar situation in Israel, so I was ready. I hope things will get better.

- Now fans are allowed to the UPL games. What do you think of Dynamo supporters?

- I’ve heard a lot of great stories about Dynamo supporters. Of course it’s hardly possible to experience this atmosphere now, but I believe things will get better.

- You’re the first representative of Panama in Dynamo. Are you proud of that?

- I’m honored to be the first Panamanian player in history of the club. It’s important for me and for my career. It’s difficult for us, Panamanians, to reach this level, so I’m happy.

- What would you like to tell our fans?

- I can promise them we’ll have a great season and will do our best to bring a trophy to the capital of Ukraine.
