- We had good chances to score in the first half. I can’t understand how Gonzalez missed. It’s important to score the early opener when you oppose Oleksandria. This time we didn’t. It’s good we opened the score early in the second half. After that things got much easier. Then we used a set piece again and finally Viktor Tsyhankov drew the line with a great goal.
- Is your goal the result of combination you work on?
- Yes, we switched positions with Sydorchuk. I was supposed to go to the far post, but he said: “Go to the near post”. I could score with a header, but missed. Fortunately I hit the target after that.
- How come Dynamo do better after the break?
- It’s hard to say. We did pretty well in the first half too, but Oleksandria defended orderly. We had chances, but didn’t sue them.
- How do you feel after international fixtures?
- Everything is fine. Of course it was bitter to lose against Iceland, but we have two more games.
