Ferguson's men teach Dynamo a lesson

Scarce chances did Dynamo have against one of the world’s most powerful teams.

With the frequent coaching rotation and bitter European and national defeats, the club is not enjoying its best times. A lot of European top clubs have been through the situation. The thing is, however, how fast a club managed to tackle the crisis.

The White-Blues have made a step backwards. Hopefully, in order to make two steps forward when we will see competition on equal terms with the continent’s heavyweights, sell-out stadiums and high quality display. All those things that are not forgotten.

It makes little sense to describe the events. In the first half, the hosts bossed utter possession and Dynamo had no opportunity to trouble van der Sar. There may be a raft of reasons for that and only Dynamo acting head coach Oleh Luzhnyy could tell more. His coaching debut was obviously no good. On the other hand, assistant coach, which he was till last Sunday, and head coach are two different things and the ex-defender will need time to find “feel” the team and find the direction they should move in.

Sir Alex’s team has been a glitch-free soccer machine for two years. This night’s game was a good lesson for Dynamo to draw.

…After the break the visitors did not look so dull and created some good combinations and scoring chances, yet without finding the net. The hosts carried on doing their job and did it triumphantly, which led to two more goals and Dynamo was sent to Kyiv with a 4-0 defeat.
