FC Dynamo Kyiv present newcomers

Journalists and fans took part in the event as presentation included press conference.

First of all the White-Blues head coach took the floor.

Serhiy Rebrov:

- I’m glad these players have joined our team and I’m sure they’ll enforce it. We’ve signed them for free, which is also important. Anyway I’m satisfied with the way they work. Last season Dynamo won the domestic league for the first time in six years and they realize that it’s not easy to earn the starting spot in this club. They fight for it. I hope these performers will keep making headway in Dynamo.

Radoslav Petrovic:

- I’m really glad to feature for such team as FC Dynamo Kyiv. This club has great traditions and a lot of supporters. Dynamo have very ambitious goals. There are many high profile performers here, but I’m ready to compete for starting spot. I think that will benefit the club.

Junior Moraes:

- I’mthankful to Dynamo direction for being here. This is the best club in Ukraine with great history and ambitions. I’m very proud to wear the shirt of this team. I promise that I’ll work very hard to win trophies with Dynamo.

Mykola Moroziuk:

- I’m very happy to return to my native club. I know that I’ll have to work a lot to earn the starting spot. I hope we are in for great victories. We’ll do our best to gladden our supporters.

After that players and head coach answered journalists’ questions.

- Did you choose squad numbers yourselves?

M.M.:

- I had this number when I left. When I returned it was also available.

J.M.:

- Great players had this number and I like it too.

R.P.:

- Squad number doesn’t mean a lot to me, but I had it in my previous teams. So when I found out it was available I asked for it.

- Serhiy Stanislavovych, will you keep using Moroziuk on Lens’ position?

- Mykola and other players tried to perform on different positions. I think he’s versatile, so he can be both defender and halfback. It’s never easy for new players to understand philosophy of a team at once. Still I see players’ willingness to do that. I’m talking about all newcomers and other performers, who worked at the training camp.

- Mykola, which position is your favorite one?

- I don’t need much time to get used to any position. I feel comfortable playing as right back and as left winger. First of all I must do what coach tells me to and benefit the team.

- Radoslav, what can you say about the Ukrainian Premier League?

- Achievements of Ukrainian clubs in euro cups tell their own tale. Dnipro reached the Europa League final last season and Dynamo – quarterfinal. Shakhtar perform in the Champions League regularly. I hope Ukrainian league will keep getting better.

- Junior, you’ve been featuring in Ukraine for several seasons already. Who’s the toughest defender of the league in your opinion?

- Yevhen Khacheridi.

- What are your expectations of the Champions League?

R.P.:

- Such teams as Dynamo always aim for success in domestic competitions and on European arena.

J.M.:

- I guess this season our aim will be to win the domestic league and to reach as far as possible in the Champions League.

M.M.:

- We must demonstrate worthy play in every competition. That’s what our supporters want.

S.R.:

- It’s been more than ten years since Dynamo got out of the Champions League group. What we aimed for last season was unity of players, fans, coaches and direction of the club. I think this unity helped us to win the league. I hope new players will help us form the team. I want us to think not only about victories in the Champions League this year. We must remember about unity too.
