After the match many players joined their national teams while some got four days off. Sol with his wife and kid went to Odesa to have some rest.
Being on this small vacation Fran didn’t refuse to have a talk with the official site of the club.
- Has this goal decreased the pressure you experienced? Will it be the most important one for your further career?
- I’m always ready to help my team. I’ve got used to work under pressure, that’s totally normal for professional football.
- Dynamo won’t have official games till September 12. Won’t this break influence the team negatively?
- I’d say we have time to reflect on what’s happened and to make proper conclusions. It’s good we can do this after two wins. After this break we’ll have a very important period, so we need to get ready.
- There’s a fierce competition in Dynamo attacking line this season. Are you ready for the role of supersubstitute or maybe the only satisfactory option for you is the regular starting spot?
- I have significant experience. I’ve covered the way from performer, who doesn’t play at all, to the leader of the team. That’s why I accept any role in the team and work to help Dynamo win.
- After quite a long streak of disappointing matches you stayed positive and didn’t give up. How did you deal with negative emotions?
- When I was younger, sometimes I didn’t talk to anyone for a couple of days after bad games. But then I realized a very important truth: when you score, you don’t become a superstar at once. And you don’t become a bad player if you don’t use a scoring chance.
- After the Super Cup you went to Odesa. Was it a kind of emotional decision?
- It wasn’t. We booked accommodation before the Super Cup. I went to Odesa with my family, but we met some acquaintances from Kyiv there.
- Did you like Odesa?
- I did. We tried to see some places, not only stay at the beach. I like exploring new cities.
