Goals of Supriaha and Isayenko and super effectiveness of Tsyhankov: Dynamo players’ achievements in national teams

28 FC Dynamo Kyiv performers featured for national and youth teams of their countries.

Let’s see what they’ve demonstrated.

We’ll start with Ukraine national team.

Andriy Shevchenko used three Kyivans in the Nations League victorious games against Czech Republic (2:1) and Slovakia (1:0) – Viktor Tsyhankov, Mykyta Burda and Serhiy Sydorchuk.

Mykyta Burda – did well in the match against Slovakia.

Serhiy Sydorchuk – made a substitute appearance 86 minutes into the game against Slovakia.

Viktor Tsyhankov – took the field 77 minutes into the match against CzechRepublic and performed a cross that resulted in goalkeeper’s mistake and goal by Zinchenko. In the following game Slovakian defender fouled against Viktor inside the box and referee awarded the decisive penalty for Ukraine.

Dynamo foreigners in national teams

This time there were three of them – Benjamin Verbic (Slovenia), Tamas Kadar (Hungary) and Josip Pivaric (Croatia).

Benjamin featured for 90 minutes against Bulgaria (1:2) and for 45 minutes against Cyprus (1:2).

Tamas performed both against Finland (0:1) and against Greece (2:1).

Josip was unlucky to perform for Croatia as they suffered the biggest defeat in history. They lost against Spain 0:6.

Dynamo Danish newcomer Mikkel Duelund performed quite successfully for Denmark U-21. He scored against Finland (2:0) and then got an assist to his name in the game against Lithuania (2:0).

Olexandr Holovko’s men won two Euro-2019 qualifiers – against Latvia (3:2) and against Andorra (1:0). In the first game Dynamo defender Denys Popov opened the score. Volodymyr Makhankov, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Mykola Shaparenko and Nazariy Rusyn tool the field too.

Mykolenko, Popov, Shaparenko and Rusyn also featured against Andorra.

Dynamo players in Ukraine U-19

Serhiy Popov’s team won three games out of three at the international tournament in Latvia!

At first they defeated Faroe Islands – 3:0. Dynamo players, who took the field: Vikentiy Voloshyn, Maxym Dukhan, Mykola Yarosh, Danylo Khondak, Heorhiy Tsytaishvili, Bohdan Biloshevskyi, Yevhen Isayenko and Vladyslav Supriaha. Voloshyn scored one goal.

Then Ukraine won against Macedonia – 2:0. One of the goals was scored by Yevhen Isayenko.

In the third match the Yellow-Blues were victorious over Latvia – 2:0. The score was opened by Vladyslav Supriaha.
