After drawing with their Polish peers 0-0, Ukraine U-18 were defeated by Belgium in the Granatkin Cup group match.
The game’s only goal came as late as on 89 minutes after two teams had had their players red-carded. Yuriy Moroz’s guys can proceed to the semi-final provided they beat Turkey and Belgium succumb to Poland.
The U-18 head coach opted to play five Dynamo players in the game: Oleksandr Stetsenko, Kyrylo Petrov (captain), Dmytro Korkishko, Denys Harmash (substituted in the 67th minute) and Dmytro Kushnirov (substituted in the 86th minute).
