- I think it’s a great film describing several epochs. The work about genius personality. This man is so great that I guess it was difficult to tell about him within ninety minutes.
Lobanovskyi was always victorious: over himself and over circumstances. Not always did they treat him decently. He was constantly accused of something he didn’t do in the Soviet Union. Still from time to time he created incredible teams that gladdened fans.
He always stated that it’s impossible to succeed without hard work 24/7. He challenged stereotypes, did what seemed impossible. What he didn’t manage to do is to win the most prestigious European club trophy, World Cup and European Championship though he approached these goals. Lobanovskyi will always live in our hearts and we’ll always remember his achievements.
Today FC Dynamo Kyiv main squad, U-21 and U-19 teams’ performers came to watch the film which means they’re being brought up using principles that helped Lobanovskyi succeed. One must work to reach something. If they do, I’m sure we’ll see other movies about successors of great master.
