- What can you say about the Football Federation of Ukraine decision to hold a meeting for representatives of Premier League clubs?
- We haven’t got any messages yet, but I’ve read that Football Federation has sent letters to clubs to inform that we should gather. There are issues, which must be solved. I want to know when the new season will start and how many teams will feature in the UPL.
- Should presidents of Ukrainian clubs be present at the meeting?
- Sure! If someone can’t arrive he must send his representative, who will be able to render decisions.
- Are you going to come to the meeting with your own vision of the UPL format?
- First of all we should listen to what we’ll be offered. I think FC Olimpik Donetsk and FC Oleksandria deserve performing in the UPL, but today some say that they should be excluded from the league.
As for the situation in Donetsk, I think we have enough stadiums in Ukraine to hold some matches. First of all we must start the new season to give people confidence.
- Sports arenas of Ukraine state concern has been disembodied. Will this fact influence on FC Dynamo Kyiv lease agreement with the NSC Olimpiyskyi?
- Of course it won’t! The stadium is a state property. I don’t care about its direction.
- There are a lot of rumors as for Dynamo foreign players’ possible transfers. Are there any real offers?
- Players haven’t addressed to me to discuss that. By the way, Younes Belhanda came to my office yesterday, but we had no conversation of that kind. Still if some performers get offers from top-clubs we’ll consider them.
- Have you already discussed the forthcoming training camp with Serhiy Rebrov?
- We have discussed everything in detail. We’ll have two training camps, but maybe we’ll have to make some allowances if the new season starts later.
- What teams will Dynamo face within two training camps?
- There are some good sparrings. We are also to face PSV Eindhoven in Kyiv this year. As we signed Jeremain Lens we included such clause into the contract. Maybe we’ll start the season with this match. We’ll also play friendly against Basel next year and four matches against Anderlecht within several seasons.
- Who will you be supporting at the World Cup?
- First of all I’ll be supporting those teams my players perform for – Portugal, Croatia, and Netherlands. I also like the play Germans demonstrate.
- How often do FC Dynamo Kyiv hold such events like todays football marathon? Is it important to habituate kids, who need support, to sports?
- About two thousand kids train at DynamoAcademy. If one per cent of them start professional football career that will be a good result. As for other boys, we just help them to find a useful hobby. We must support children this way.
Todays event is very important. That will be great if kids realize that life is not only street, cigarettes and drugs.
