- I guess clubs can’t take part in this contest as the season is officially over, but youth teams are getting ready for the start of European Championship qualification. Anyway, first of all it’s important to honor such a great person and I hope further generations will also remember what Valeriy Lobanovskyi has done for Ukrainian and post-Soviet football.
- Every year Dynamo trainees take part in Valeriy Lobanovskyi memorial tournament. Today former player of our club is in charge of Ukraine youth team. So, do Dynamo invest a lot into this contest?
- The tournament has been arranged by the Football Federation of Ukraine while we’ve let it take place at our stadium. Dynamo trainees will keep taking part in this contest as our players represent the club in national youth teams of different age groups. Still our boys should win more often as we do it very rarely (Ukraine have won only one contest out of ten – in 2009).
