Ihor Surkis: “Everything gets back on track”

- This warm day, when you can see the nature recovering, it feels nice to share my impressions of Dynamo performances.

Cold facts demonstrate real triumph of the team in 2020/21 season. Statistics proves that. Ukrainian football has got unchallenged champion and Cup holder again. It’s great to realize this is our club.

Now we have reasons to hope for international recognition. This is another step for the team Mircea Lucescu is building in Kyiv. He’s a man of his word and man of action, who should be given credit for his professionalism, courage and ability to take the heat. Mister has proved he deserves to be among the most outstanding football coaches of our time.

Players, thank you for fresh feelings we started forgetting a bit! For your versatility, will to win, decisive late goals, spectacular combinations and saves.

I’d like to thank those, who usually stay off screen: doctors, administrators, drivers, stadium and training complex employees. This is our common triumph.

On behalf of Dynamo loyal fans, I want to thank the whole big team for the great season. It was tough, but victorious, which means we move in the right direction.

The winner is always right… It’s easy to say right now, but it was much harder when Mircea Lucescu was appointed to the post of Dynamo head coach. I’m glad we’ve completed our tasks.

I’m happy that current champions of Ukraine are true Ukrainian team – major club for all national teams of the country that raises young talents like Tsyhankov, Mykolenko, Shaparenko, Zabarnyi, Popov and others.

We celebrate victory we’ve deserved. Maybe it’s a new feeling for some of newfound champions, but for glorious Dynamo it’s ordinary tradition. I hope everything gets back on track.

We are Dynamo. We are Kyiv. Together to new victories!
