For the first time ever the White-Blues managed to win the euro cups match by two goals playing outnumbered with the score being 0:0 when centre back Aleksandar Dragović was sent off by Belarus referee Kulbakov!
It’s interesting that the first triumph of the kind, but by narrow margin, took place as Kyivans faced another Danish club. On November 6 1991 they defeated Brøndby IF away within the Champions’ Cup round of 16 second leg.
