They’ve already played the first friendly – against Legia Warsaw. The White-Blues faced this team four times before at training camps and didn’t win a single time. Unfortunately this time they didn’t succeed either and lost 0:2.
After one-year ban, Dynamo forward Artem Besedin was in the starting lineup. Legia started by applying pressure right of the bat, but Kyivans cope with that.
Eventually Polish side created a good chance and Boiko had to clear the ball after strike by Martins. Dynamo also had decent opportunities, but Mykolenko and Verbic failed to turn them into goals. Later Verbic hit the target, but Tsyhankov, who assisted him, was flagged offside.
Meanwhile Legia used their chance: Pekhart headed the ball in after cross from the corner flag by Martins. Later Pekhart doubled the score from the spot after Kedziora fouled against him and referee awarded penalty.
Verbic could pull one back late in the first half, but hit the post. Tsyhankov netted the ball after that, but he was offside again.
In the second half Dynamo used different lineup. Only Zabarnyi wasn’t substituted. Kyivans started actively, but efforts of Duelund, Rodrigues and Supriaha didn’t result in anything.
Our team moved pretty well and had some good combinations, but Legia created danger too. Still our defenders didn’t let the team down.
Anyway, Dynamo will play the next game on January 21 – against champions of Belarus FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk. The game will start at 15:00 Kyiv time.
