Bulgarian side opened the score 4 minutes into the match. Pedro finished a counterattack. Late in the first half Kyivans took the lead. Eventually Buialskyi and Gonzalez scored two goals in a row.
There weren’t a lot of scoring chances after the break. Moraes scored with a header, but he was flagged offside. In a stoppage time referee awarded penalty for Bulgarian side and Despodov converted from the spot.
