The White-Blues faced FC Kolos Kovalivka at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi.
In the first half, Kyivans had a lot of chances to open the score. At first Mykolenko put a cross to Besedin, but Kolos keeper Volynets did a good job. Then he cleared the shot by Shepelev from inside the box.
25 minutes into the game Carlos de Pena had a scoring opportunity, but missed. Late in the first half Besedin had a good attempt, but hit the post.
54 minutes into the match referee decided that de Pena fouled inside Dynamo penalty area and awarded penalty for Kolos. Havrysh converted from the spot. Dynamo responded very quickly. Besedin equalized after worthy attack.
Later Nekhtiy put Kolos in front again after cross from Ilyin. In a stoppage time, Mykyta Burda was sent off for rough foul. Olexandr Chornomorets took that free kick and made the score 3:1.
