Olexiy Mykhailychenko’s men faced FC Olimpik Donetsk. It should be mentioned that each half of the game lasted 30 minutes.
Just like in the previous match against Rukh, the White-Blues gaffer used almost all performers who were available. There were two substitutions in the starting lineup – Duelund and Tsytaishvili replaced Shepelev and Andriyevskyi.
Heorhiy turned out to become the man of the match very early in the game. The 19-year-old halfback managed to score twice within four minutes. At first he sent the ball into the net after low cross from Verbic and then finished Dynamo fast attack with a well-placed strike.
Olimpik tried to respond. Politylo’s attempt was pretty close, but actually Tsytaishvili was much closer to a hat-trick. Heorhiy missed by centimeters after cross from the wing.
After the break both sides changed their lineups almost completely. Dynamo kept creating chances. Sol was probably the most active, but didn’t manage to use his opportunities.
Olimpik also could score. For example, Boiko parried a decent strike into the bottom corner and right before the time our keeper saved the team in one-on-one situation.
So, Dynamo win 2:0 and focus on the forthcoming game against Shakhtar that takes place on May 31 at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.
