11 players of our team currently feature at the Euro-2020 while Basel have only two internationals. Besides this was the second friendly for Swiss side this summer.
As for the game, it started toe-to-toe. Zhergova and Kasami responded to attempts of Supriaha and Buialskyi, but the White-Blues eventually opened the score. In the 23rd minute, Supriaha found Antiukh inside the penalty area and the latter made it 1:0.
In a few minutes our team doubled the score. De Pena put a cross from the corner flag and Syrota was there to send the ball into the net – 2:0.
Still Basel managed to equalize before the break. At first Kasami made it 2:1 after cross from the left side and then referee awarded penalty for the foul by Antiukh. Cabral converted from the spot – 2:2.
After the first half, Dynamo head coach made a number of substitutions and the new group scored quite quickly. Liedniev hit the target at the second attempt after goalkeeper coped with the first shot – 3:2.
In the 60th minute Basel equalized again. Cabral rushed into the box and hit the far corner – 3:3. In six minutes, Korobenko scored his debut goal for Dynamo first team with a spectacular strike – 4:3.
Still this wasn’t it. 82 minutes into the game, referee awarded free kick for Basel and Marchand sent the ball below the wall right into unprotected corner – 4:4.
On July 3 Mircea Lucescu’s men will play the next friendly – against FC Lausanne–Sport.
