The game took place in the town of Meyrin, not far from Geneva, where local football admirers filled the only stand of the small stadium.
Inspired by their supporters, Servette opened the score 12 minutes into the match. Imeri obtained the ball in the left side, moved to the center and hit the near corner – 1:0.
In a few minutes, Servette created another chance. Kyei attempted with a header after cross from the left wing, but Boiko parried his shit. Kone had similar opportunity halfway through the first half, but missed.
In the 39th minute, Kone could double the score in one-on-one situation, but fortunately Boiko won the duel.
Right after the first half, Mircea Lucescu made four substitutions. Dynamo started attacking. Antiukh could appear one-on-one with goalkeeper, but opponent cleared the ball in the nick of time.
Halfway through the second half, Dubinchak almost curled it in from the left side, but hit the post. Then de Pena almost sent the ball into the net from the midfield, but goalkeeper reached it.
Dynamo efforts resulted in goal five minutes before the time. Tymchyk put a cross into the box from the right side and Shkurin scored his first goal for Dynamo with a header.
So, it’s 1:1. Newcomer’s goal salvages a draw for Dynamo.
