Europa League. Dynamo Kyiv – Rapid Wien. Preview

The game will start on December 12 at 22:05 at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.

Dynamo: last mission of the expiring year

After the last UPL match the White-Blues got ten days for preparation for the decisive Europa League fixture.

After important win against FC Sevastopol Kyivans got two days off and then started working at their training complex in Koncha-Zaspa.

Such break can be both useful and harmful, but defender Aleksandar Dragovic is sure that it will have positive impact on Dynamo play: “I think it’s good that we had ten days for preparation and analyzed Rapid tactics”.

Midfielder Serhiy Sydorchuk and forward Dieumerci Mbokani won’t take the field against Austrian side because of suspension, but Oleh Blokhin has performers to substitute them.

It’s very important that Dynamo skipper Olexandr Shovkovskyi has stepped back into ranks. Maybe he’ll feature against the Green-Whites.

- We are preparing for the game to achieve positive result.

The White-Blues also have some problems with injured players. Roman Bezus, Domagoj Vida and Lukman Haruna have skipped several training sessions. Danilo Silva has already left for Brazil and Yevhen Selin keeps recovering.

After the home draw against Kyivans Rapid played 12 games in different competitions.

Their unbeaten streak lasted 11 games, after which they suffered two away defeats in a row.
