Maksym Braharu: “I like this kind of schedule – two games a week, euro cups”

The White-Blues’ halfback Maksym Braharu has shared his impressions of the win against FC Veres Rivne (2:1).

- Congratulation on the victorious UPL start, Maksym! The game was quite easy at first, but ended intensely?

- The game was under our control, but the ending was tough. We needed to score the third one to calm things down.

- You took the field when the score was 2:0. Was the team supposed to play differently after your appearance?

- We started the second half aiming to continue playing the way the team did before the break. We created a lot of chances, but didn’t use those.

- You played in both wings. Was it a part of the plan?

- It’s not an issue for me to play in any wing although I prefer the left one of course.

- Dynamo played this game on the third day after euro cups match. Did you feel tired?

- It was important to recondition properly. We approached this game in a good shape. Now we’re to get ready for Rangers.

- How’s this schedule for you which is more intense then what you had in your previous club?

- I like this kind of schedule – two games a week, euro cups. That’s the real football!

- You must be feeling enhanced responsibility for the final score in Dynamo, more expectations from fans?

- Of course Dynamo aim to win each game. That’s what we must strive for in every match.

- Veres were supported by almost full stadium. Was it their advantage?

- Of course when you play at home, if front of your fans, that increases your motivation. But it was good for us as well. It’s better to play when there’s a full house.

- You had a good chance to score. What did you lack in that episode?

- It was really a good opportunity. Probably, I lacked some coolness.

- Dynamo matches differ from Chornomorets considering that the team usually dominates while opponents play very defensively. Do you feel that?

- Of course I do. That’s a different level, top players who understand each other on the field. That’s why opponents have double motivation opposing Dynamo.

- You’re going to play a very important game against Rangers in a few days. How will you be getting ready for it?

- Very responsibly. This game is very important. We’ll do our best to win and go through to the next stage.

- Do you feel Dynamo can outplay this opponent?

- Rangers are very good team. They’re very athletic. We let the win slip away in the first leg. Both sides had chances. It will all be settled in the second game.

- This will be the second away game in a row for Dynamo. Did you have a kind of rehearsal in Rivne?

- I guess so. Although there will be much more fans in Glasgow. Rangers will have substantial support. But we won’t mind that. We’ll do the best we can to win.
