One of them will be the opposition of two friends: Dynamo striker Junior Moraes and Besiktas defender Marcelo.
Both were born in 1987 and attended Santos FC academy. In 2007 they helped the team win Campeonato Paulista.
After that Marcelo left for Poland and played for Wisla Krakow for two seasons. Later he featured for PSV Eindhoven and Hannover 96. In February of 2016 he signed loan agreement with Besiktas and after it expired Turkish conducted the transfer of this tall Brazilian defender (height – 191 cm).
Moraes started his career in Europe in Romanian side AF Gloria Bistrita. After that he had a good season with PFC CSKA Sofia and scored 35 goals for FC Metalurh Donetsk in 63 matches. In May of 2015 he signed three-year contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv.
On September 28 Marcelo and Junior Moraes will face each other as opponents and they’ll have to forget about friendship for 90 minutes.
