Dynamo Kyiv came from a goal down to secure a 1-3 victory over Metalurh Zaporizhya at the weekend.
The home side took the lead in the 3rd minute when Metalurh midfielder Oleksiy Godin fired powerfully into the net from 25 meters. Despite falling behind, the Premier League’s top side managed to recover and turn the match in their favour. The game has totally changed after the interval as substitute Miloš Ninković equalised on 59 minutes with Artem Milevskyy giving his side the lead ten minutes later. It was one of the replacements, Carlos Corrêa, who struck the third goal in the final quarter to complete the scoring.
A victory at Metalurh Z on Sunday stretched Dynamo’s winning run in the Ukrainian Premier League to five games and lifted them 12 points clear in the table.
