- Was it hard to recondition after the game against Villarreal?
- It was as games against Villarreal were quite exhausting. We opposed very good team that has such players as Gerard Moreno.
It was hard, but guys understood my plan and got ready for today’s game properly although we had only two days for that.
Rukh defended very orderly in the first half and we didn’t have space. We didn’t use wings effectively enough. After the break we started playing more vertically. We created chances and scored. After we did visitors had to attack and we got more space.
- You disagreed with referee who added only one minute for stoppages in the first half although it took him at least three to check VAR…
- I’m not a fan of VAR, but if we use this system and referee interrupts the game, he should take into account how long this break is. As for me it lasted longer than a minute.
I understand Rukh. Such interruptions were beneficial for them. I don’t see such long breaks in top European leagues.
