The presentation took place at the NSC Olimpiyskyi and included several parts.
At first there was a press conference for journalists at the Champions’ Hall, where they were shown new home and away kit.
Dynamo and New Balance representatives communicated with media. Among them were FC Dynamo Kyiv first vice president Vitaliy Sivkov, New Balance EMEA region vice president Fran Allen, StarLink Group founder Volodymyr Kravchenko, FC Dynamo Kyiv vice president Olexiy Palamarchuk, StarLink Group director Ihor Shkurchenko, FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach Olexandr Khatskevych and sporting director Olexiy Mykhailychenko.
The White-Blues gaffer came to the press conference wearing new kit.
Vitaliy Sivkov, FC Dynamo Kyiv first vice president:
- First of all I’d like to give you regards from the president of our club and wish all of us success. We’re happy FC Dynamo Kyiv and New Balance have found each other. Today we’ve made the first step. Our agreement will be valid for three years. We hope our cooperation will be beneficial for New Balance and New Balance Ukraine. Today we finish preparatory stage and get to work. You can already see our coach wearing new kit.
Fran Allen, New Balance EMEA region vice president:
- Our cooperation started when I was told that there’s nothing more significant in Ukrainian football than FC Dynamo Kyiv. Recently the Champions League final took place in Kyiv and one of the teams performed in New Balance kit. I hope one day Dynamo will also take part in the decisive game of this prestigious competition. I’m sure our cooperation with Dynamo will be interesting and beneficial for both parties.
Volodymyr Kravchenko, StarLink Group founder:
- We have great motivation to cooperate with such club as FC Dynamo Kyiv. Football is #1 sport and we’re proud to be related to it. Current contract with Dynamo is a good continuation of ten-year cooperation with New Balance in the field of Ukrainian sports development. We also used to work with such famous sportsmen as gymnast Hanna Rizatdinova, wrestler Zhan Beleniuk, Ukrainian athletics team. Working with FC Dynamo Kyiv we plan to become the third football top brand in our country.
Olexiy Palamarchuk, FC Dynamo Kyiv vice president:
- It’s a historical day for Dynamo and New Balance. Today we can confidently say we’ve made a right choice. This is a serious brand that cooperates with many famous clubs performing in the Champions League. New Balance is our strategic partner and soon you’ll see what we’ve done. Sports brand isn’t just a kit. It’s a marketing concept aiming to prove supporters that it’s cool to come to the stadium wearing official clothing of the team.
Ihor Shkurchenko, StarLink Group director:
- For the majority of us FC Dynamo Kyiv aren’t just a team. It’s our life. Despite any processes that take place in the club and in the country we’re happy to support the team through foul and fair. Personally I enjoy following Dynamo today as many trainees of the club perform for the team and kids at DynamoAcademy can see that success is possible.
Olexandr Khatskevych, FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach:
- We start new season, build new team and have new sponsor... We have high hopes. I hope that with new kit we’ll succeed both in Ukraine and on European arena.
Olexiy Mykhailychenko, FC Dynamo Kyiv sporting director:
- I used to play wearing kits of different manufacturers, so I know how important it is for a player to have comfortable outfit. I hope we’ll have a lot of victories with new kit.
After the press conference Vitaliy Sivkov, Fran Allen and Volodymyr Kravchenko signed cooperation memorandum for 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
Then both parties exchanged presents.
After that Dynamo players Serhiy Sydorchuk, Viktor Tsyhankov, Denys Boiko and Heorhiy Bushchan demonstrated the new kit.
After the presentation the team had open training session at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.
Then players took New Balance footballs signed by all of them and presented them to fans.
After the training session there was autograph signing with the participation of Serhiy Sydorchuk, Viktor Tsyhankov, Mykola Shaparenko and Heorhiy Bushchan.
All the present could purchase new Dynamo kit at once.
The kit is also available at Dynamo official shops and in the White-Blues and New Balance internet stores.
