- When did you find out about the call-up to the national team?
- We just returned from England after away game against Everton FC, I was going to training session when a friend of mine called and congratulated me. At first I couldn’t believe that. Later I read that on the Internet. A couple of days later Serhiy Rebrov told me that. Only then I realized it was all true.
- You turn 20 on March 24. Isn’t this call-up a good present for you?
- Sure, it was a great surprise. I’m full of positive emotions! Anyway I don’t think we’ll celebrate.
- Have you already had a talk with the head coach? What are your impressions of that conversation?
- We’ve had a talk and my impressions are good. We talked not just about my football skills, but also about personal issues.
- How did experienced teammates meet you?
- They greeted me, everything was fine.
- Is the big number of Dynamo performers in the national team good for you?
- Of course, as I’m not acquainted with other players so far. That’s why I feel more comfortable due to Dynamo teammates.
- Do you count on taking the field in the match against Spain?
- That’s up to the head coach. I work and do my best to take the field.
- You used to play on different positions for Dynamo. What’s the best one for you? What are your strengths?
- I’ll play the way coach tells me to. As for my strengths, I don’t like to talk about myself.
- Specialists say you are versatile player. What’s your favourite position?
- Most of all I like playing as centre back. Still I can also be a lateral. I’m ready to do that if it benefits my team.
