Last season the White-Blues also faced Mynai in the Ukrainian Cup away and Shaparenko’s brace helped Kyivans win.
- You made your first appearance after quarantine in the game against FC Zoria Luhansk. What do you think of your current shape?
- Fortunately I’ve recovered from injury. Now I’m reconditioning. I feel fine and I’d like to thank coaches for letting me take the field. It was enough to feel the game rhythm.
- What’s the atmosphere in the team like after such important win?
- The game against Zoria was a good one. I wish there were more teams like them in our league. They don’t just defend, but play football.
- Have you watched any FC Mynai matches?
- I haven’t, but I follow their results. Coaches will show us all the necessary information at the theory class.
- Do you have enough time to recondition and get ready for the game against Mynai?
- We’ve already played three games after quarantine, so the team is approaching the next game in a good shape.
- Your chances to win the domestic league this season are only theoretical. Does this mean that it’s especially important to you to win the Ukrainian Cup?
- Sure, the national cup is very important to us. We’ll do our best to win the trophy.
