Nine Dynamo players named in Ukraine squad

Ukraine coach Oleksiy Mykhailychenko has named nine Dynamo players in his provisional squad for the World Cup qualifiers against England and Andorra.

It is worth noting that Dynamo defender Taras Mykhalyk and midfielder Oleksandr Aliyev are both back in the Ukraine squad after recovering from long-term injuries.

The Dynamo players will join up with their international teammates for a pre-tournament training camp in Koncha-Zaspa on Monday 5 October. Mykhailychenko's side meet England in a vital 2010 World Cup qualifier at the Dnipro Arena in Dnipropetrovsk on 10 October before facing Andorra at Andorra la Vella the Estadi Comunal on 14 October.

The squad in full is:

Goalkeepers: Andriy Pyatov (Shakhtar), Stanislav Bogush and Oleksandr Shovkovskyy (both from Dynamo);

Defenders: Vitaliy Mandzyuk and Taras Mykhalyk (both from Dynamo), Vasyl Kobin, Oleksandr Kucher, Vyacheslav Shevchuk, Mykola Ischenko and Yaroslav Rakytskyy (all from Shakhtar), Hryhoriy Yarmash (Vorskla);

Midfielders:
Oleksiy Gai (Shakhtar), Oleksandr Aliyev, Oleh Husyev and Andriy Yarmolenko (all from Dynamo), Serhiy Nazarenko and Ruslan Rotan (both from Dnipro), Anatoliy Tymoschuk (FC Bayern, Germany);

Forwards: Andriy Voronin (FC Liverpool, England), Volodymyr Homenyuk, Yevhen Seleznyov (both from Dnipro), Artem Milevskyy and Andriy Shevchenko (both from Dynamo).
