- Ognjen, we are glad to see you again. How can you estimate the experience you gained playing for Spartak Moscow?
- Thank you! I’m completely satisfied with time I spent playing for Spartak. We managed to qualify to Europa league.
- Which game in Russia was the most memorable one for you?
- There were a lot of such games. Moscow derby against CSCA and the match against Anzhi Makhachkala for example.
- Is Russian league of higher level than Ukrainian?
- It is a little but. There are about eight teams which struggle for Premiership. In Ukraine there are four.
- Dynamo have finished 3rd in Ukrainian Premier League this season. How can you estimate this result?
- It’s a pity that Dynamo finished 3rd. I hope that won’t happen again. I know what the 3rd place means for Kyiv fans. Never the less Dynamo president has emphasized ambitions of his team with summer transfers. We’ll do our best to demonstrate good play next season.
- Fans are looking forward for the Joint tournament games between Dynamo Kyiv and Spartak Moscow. What do you expect of these matches?
- I’m looking forward for good games. I think such competitions are better than friendlies within training camps.
- Ognjen, what are your ambitions as you have returned to Dynamo?
- First of all we must return Dynamo to the top of the tournament bracket. We are also to demonstrate good play in Europa league. I have returned as I want to play on top level.
- You are supporting halfback, but Dynamo head coach makes you play as center back…
- I played as defender only when some players were injured or suspended.
- Croats started the training camp later than the rest of the team. Is it difficult for you to catch up with other players?
- We had about 9 days for vacation. It will take us 3-4 days to catch up with the rest of the team. I think we’ll manage to start the new season in good shape.
