- We realized that the game would be difficult. It was a test for Odessa side as they want to play in euro cups.
I want to thank FC Chornomorets president who agreed to postpone the game. A lot of our players took part in international games so the extra day-off was important to us.
We controlled the game. We had a lot of goal-scoring opportunities and could score more.
- Did you watch Ukraine national team’s games?
- I don’t want to comment upon other coach’s work.
- Could you comment upon the conflict which happened between Burdujan and Khacheridi?
- I didn’t see what happened. Khacheridi has problems with discipline sometimes. Punishments and fines give no result. We’ll decide what to do when we analyze that episode.
- What feelings did you have going to Odessa? The period of your work with Chornomorets was not the best for this team…
- I came to Odessa with my team and people greeted me when I went out of the buss.
- Chornomorets had two goal-scoring opportunities after corners…
- We still have some difficulties to work at. But in general I have been working with the team for 40 days…
- In what physical conditions are international players?
- They scored twice which means they are in good conditions. Our players were among best in Warsaw and in Odessa. We warned them that they must play well both for their national teams and club.
After the second goal Chornomorets fell apart. I don’t know why it happened that way.
- What is the difference between refereeing in Ukraine and in Europe?
- Our referees are more liberal. Players can come up to the referee and argue with him. Referees must have some self-esteem.
