Shortly before the new match against Romanian side he shared his reminiscences of that game and told about preparation for the forthcoming one:
- We have one training session a day. We work in ordinary course. After the game against FC Karpaty Lviv we had time to recondition. As for me the schedule with two matches a week is better than with one.
- Do you remember matches against Steaua that took place eight years ago within the Champions League group stage, when Dynamo suffered 4:1 defeat in Kyiv and played in 1:1 draw away?
- I have few reminiscences of the first game. We lost on all counts. I suppose our goal was netted by Serhiy Rebrov. In the second match referee cancelled our goal unfairly.
- What are the peculiarities of todays Steaua?
- I guess we faced them last winter at the training camp and lost by two goals to nil. Their players have good technical skills and like to control the ball.
- How important will it be to score the early opener?
- Early opener is important. If we score it that will be great, if we don’t – we’ll try to hit the target later and gladden supporters. I hope at least 30 thousand people will come to the stadium.
