- Cup games are always unpredictable and cause incredible excitement among supporters. In the first half we let the home side feel joy, but after the break we did what we had to.
- Why were the majority of the first team regulars in the starting lineup?
- Actually there was a certain lineup rotation as we have tight schedule. We didn’t have any disrespect to our opponent at all. In the first half we didn’t create a lot which is Mynai desert. In the second half experienced performers took the field. Mykola Shaparenko has done really well. So have Harmash and Buialskyi.
- What do you think of Mynai?
- Mynai are pretty good team with experienced players that give youngsters confidence. They’ve done their best. It was great to perform at such a great stadium in front of so many spectators. Everything was incredible!
- What did you tell the team after the first half?
- The thing is just that home side got tired and we let experienced guys take the field. I didn’t say anything special after the first half.
