- I want to thank our supporters, who are always with us. We reached the Europa League quarterfinals, so this campaign was quite good. Maybe fatigue influenced our play sometimes. We resisted Fiorentina, but then conceded accidental goal.
- Was the start of the game crucial? Dynamo let Fiorentina seize the initiative…
- It would have been crucial if we conceded 2-3 goals. Red card for our player changed everything. Was it fair or not… Referee renders decisions. There’s nothing we can do about that.
- You had much work today…
- We haven’t fulfilled the game plan. We wanted to use counterattacks, but after the red card we had few chances. Still we could score late in the second half.
- Dynamo looked better in return matches this season. How come it wasn’t the case this time?
- What would your reaction have been if they told you before the Europa League campaign start that our team would reach quarterfinals? The more you have the more you want. We demonstrated totally new play. Anyway we must always learn something from our opponents.
- How did you concede the first goal?
- Gomez wanted to trap the ball, but didn’t manage to. Still he was lucky and the ball hit the net.
- Even defeats can give reasons for optimism. Do you feel it now?
- We are optimistic about the right direction we’ve chosen. We must move on.
