Following Dynamo’s home 2-1 victory at FC Dnipro, Dynamo defender Pape Diakhaté commented on the match and his first goal for the capital club.
- I’m very happy to score my first goal for Dynamo. I was very glad to help my team-mates win this match. We played really well even though it was quite difficult to penetrate Dnipro’s defence. Today's match was rather complicated for both teams.
I must admit we were very upset about the result in the Group G fixture against Arsenal FC. We were analysing why it happened but unfortunately we couldn't find an answer to the question. Nevertheless, every year our team earn more experience. That is very important for us. We have two more games before the winter break and we are going to do everything possible to reach the UEFA Cup and not to disappoint our supporters.
