Supporters aged 8-16 were sending letters to our performers wishing them all the best in Euro-2016 qualifier against Spain. Authors of twenty best letters were invited to the meeting.
Six players took part in the awarding ceremony. It was planned that there would be seven of them, but Serhiy Sydorchuk has picked up an injury, so he was absent.
The first to name his laureate was Oleh Husiev. His young fan wished our team to hammer Spain as Germany hammered Brazil at the last World Cup.
Andriy Yarmolenko got the biggest number of letters. Children, who came to the ceremony, also asked him a lot of questions, so the meeting looked like a press conference.
The atmosphere was really positive and our players joked a lot.
Eventually the photo session was arranged. Kids got presents, shirts and footballs signed by Ukraine internationals.
