- What do you think of the outcome of the game? Is it positive for your team? Did weather influence the game?
- I’d like to thank people, who were taking care of the field. It was great for this time of the year. The weather was the same for both sides, it didn’t increase or decrease game rhythm.
The goalless draw would have been a better outcome than 1:1. As I told my players, it’s vital not to concede at home, but unfortunately we did.
Anyway, we have a week to get ready for the return match. Brugge are in better rhythm than us. We’ve had only one official game after the winter break, but I hope we’ll do better in a week.
- In the first half Dynamo played too simply, using a lot of long balls. Was this your plan? Are you satisfied with Bushchan today?
- After the first half I pointed this aspect out. I warned players that visitors would apply pressure, so we were supposed to use short passes and look for space behind their backs. Unfortunately our goalkeeper and defenders used too many long balls which is convenient for Brugge.
- I seemed Dynamo were too constrained in the midfield. What do you plan to do to improve this aspect?
- We were losing possession in the midfield too often. We were starting our attacks too slowly although there was space we had to use. Unfortunately we didn’t do it or did, but too slowly.
- Dynamo defend quite orderly, but don’t attack aggressively enough. When will the team make a step forward in this aspect?
- After the first half I asked guys to play more aggressively, to send the ball into space and to play behind Brugge defenders’ backs. When Buialskyi scored, they did it. Unfortunately we used a lot of long balls opponents coped with.
We worked on our defense a lot, but now we lack official games to improve our attacking skills.
Anyway, I’d like to remind that we opposed a team that’s way in front of its opponents in Belgian league. Brugge are very good team.
