In the afternoon legendary players, administrators, doctors and massage therapists gathered at Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi. After that they went to Kyiv hotel restaurant. Later they were invited to Presidential Administration to meet Petro Poroshenko.
By the way, our famous team looked very young and fancy due to Arber clothes.
Petro Poroshenko walked into conventional hall and apologized for being late.

“You can’t imagine how fascinated I was watching your fantastic game on May 2 1986. After the final whistle I kissed the TV set. The match against Atletico was a true example of teamwork. You glorified FC Dynamo Kyiv all over the world which is football diplomacy that glorified Ukraine too”, - stated Petro Olexiyovych.
“In Lyon we found out what terrible tragedy happened in Ukraine. Then we realized that victory was our only option. We had to do this to gladden people”, - said Dynamo 1986 captain Anatoliy Demianenko before presenting President with a pennon.
After that President of Ukraine awarded the White-Blues with Orders of Merit of the First, Second and Third Class.

In his turn UEFA vice president Hryhoriy Surkis made a present of the ball signed by Dynamo 1986 players for the President and FC Dynamo Kyiv president Ihor Surkis gave the head of our state the White-Blues shirt with symbolic squad number 12!
