Serhiy Rebrov’s men left runners-up – FC Shakhtar Donetsk – seven points behind. Kyivans became champions three matchdays before the season finish after they defeated FC Vorskla Poltava (1:0) and FC Shakhtar Donetsk lost points opposing FC Chornomorets Odesa (1:1).
The White-Blues won 23 games out of 26, lost two and played in a draw once.
At home arena – 13 matches: 12 wins, 1 defeat, goal difference – 23:4. Away (or technically away) – 13 games: 11 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat, goal difference – 31:7.
Oleh Husiev made the biggest number of appearances – 24. Andriy Yarmolenko was the one to take the field among first eleven more often than other players – 23 times. Andriy also became the best striker of the team with 13 goals to his name. He got 24 points according to goal+assist system which is Dynamo best result.
