Season commences victoriously

The two-trainings-per-day run in Israel has made the playing day against Levski even more desirable. In the first game of 2008, led by Yuriy Semin for the first time, the thirty+ footballers needed no extra motivation to give the game their best shot. Some players had to wait for another chance as they miss friendly vs. the Bulgarian 25–time champions, 26-time Cup and 2-time Super Cup victors. Romanchuk, Marković, Kléber and Diogo Rincón are working out individually.

Although in a warm-up game, Dynamo celebrated a success in the opening game of the year.

Ninković gave his team a lead in the 28th minute. The Serbian received the goal in the midfield and, having dashed some thirty meters, fired the ball into the net. The advantage was further cemented by Husyev one minute before the 1st-half whistle.

With a host of young substitutes brought up in the second 45 minutes, some decent moments were yielded, yet unrealized, and it was the opponent that scored a late goal to make it 2-1.

Traditionally, two sets of players were involved in the friendly game, one in each half.
