Year after year this loss is experienced more tangibly. Valeriy Lobanovskyi was a world football phenomenon. He was a specialist, who left a whole football vector after him.

The difference between good and bad coaches is not only about trophies. It’s about their legacy. It’s about what they leave for further generations, colleagues and supporters.

In his lifetime, the methods of Valeriy Lobanovskyi were studied by coaches from leading football countries. Football Europe was fascinated with is teams in 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Valeriy Lobanovskyi implemented scientific approach in football, but his teams played with aesthetic grace too. He was ahead of time and many of his ideas turned out to be effective in modern football.

He wasn’t just a successful coach and player for Dynamo. He was a person, who turned our club into significant European force and cultivated mentality of winners in several generations of players.

The passion for progress, victories and development was a sartorial statement of Valeriy Lobanovskyi.

Famous European football periodicals France Football and FourFourTwo have included Valeriy Lobanovskyi into the list of top ten best coaches of all time. Meanwhile for Dynamo he’ll always be number one.
