- Serhiy, what are your impressions of the first training camp with the main squad?
- It’s interesting to go to the training camp with the main squad for the first time. That’s something new for me. It’s great to work under the charge of such coaches as Serhiy Rebrov, Raul Riancho and Serhiy Fedorov. They know a lot about football. I do my best at training sessions and use knowledge I get in sparrings.
- What can you say about the period of you career you spent in FC Hoverla Uzhhorod?
- It was a good experience for me. There were some good matches. I really tried to help this team.
- Goal you scored against FC Shakhtar Donetsk was probably the brightest moment of the first half of the season you spent in Uzhhorod. Did you have special attitude of mind before that game?
- I try to take every match professionally. I do my best and learn something in every game as football life is very short. That’s why I want to make headway as quickly as possible. I knew that the match against Shakhtar would be difficult. It was interesting to oppose such team.
- Did you discuss you play for Hoverla with Viacheslav Hroznyi after you returned to Dynamo?
- Yes, he called me on Christmas and congratulated our family. It was very nice. He said that I must keep working. He also stated that I can become a good player.
- Have you improved your play within the last six months?
- I feel that I have. It’s great that I have no problems with injuries. I’m thankful to Viacheslav Hroznyi for giving me a chance.
- Is the exercise load at current training camp more serious than you used to have?
- Exercise load is absolutely normal. Doctors and massage therapists help us to cope with it. Coaches say that we must do our best in sparrings as we don’t run a lot at training sessions. Still I can’t say that work is easy.
We play a lot of friendlies which is awesome. I guess this is the best training camp for me. It’s great to work with such coaches and teammates.
- Is it easy for you to get used to Dynamo game model that includes constant ball control?
- I actually like that kind of football. It’s much better than just kicking the ball forward or defending with the whole squad.
- What is the perfect position for you?
- I usually play as left or right winger. Formerly I was a midfielder and even forward sometimes.
- Journalists and fans praise you a lot summarizing sparrings at the training camp. What do coaches and you personally think about your play?
- I want to thank everyone, who speaks positively about my play, but I think that I still must work a lot. Serhiy Rebrov and Raul follow me and point out my mistakes. I always understand what my task is and try to accomplish it. At first it was difficult to follow the game plan, but now things are getting easier. I feel that I can do better.
