- You had to change preseason work schedule as the last sparring was cancelled. Has it influenced the training program?
- That’s okay. I think we’ve had enough sparrings. This morning we played a training match instead of the planned friendly.
- In the last match Andriy Tsurikov played as left back for 90 minutes. What are his chances for taking this vacancy?
- Everybody has a chance. I don’t have any claims to our players. This training camp has proved that everyone’s eager to play. I’m glad we have competing in the team. Thus each performer makes headway and struggles for starting spot.
- Betao played as right lateral and centre back in sparrings. What can you say about his work?
- Betao didn’t play for quite a long period of time, so now he needs some time to recondition. I’m glad that he works hard. He’s experienced player, who can benefit any team. Besides he’s spent a significant part of his career in Dynamo, so he knows what this club means to all of us.
- Miakushko and Kalytvyntsev played on both flanks. Do you want them to be versatile or just look for best possible position for each of them?
- There’s no big difference between duties of left and right winger. For example Andriy Yarmolenko usually features on the right flank though he’s left-footer. We need training camps to let our performers play on different positions. I think we’ve got enough information.
- What will the program of the second training camp be like?
- It will resemble the first training camp, but players will get more game practice in sparrings. Each of them will feature for 70-90 minutes. We’ll be getting ready for important domestic league and Europa League fixtures.
- Have you defined players that will go to the second training camp?
- That will be practically same people.
- Don’t you divide these performers into the first and second squad?
- Does any coach do that at the training camp? We need effective competition. There can be no first and second squad during preseason work.
- How are you going to spend several days off?
- There’s stuff to do at home.
