After the game he told about his impressions:
- I have only positive emotions as we managed to win the match. Later we’ll analyze our mistakes, but in general I think my debut was a success.
- When did you get to know that you would be among first eleven? Did you feel that in would happen?
- Actually I didn’t. On the matchday Oleh Blokhin called and Veloso and informed us that we would play as supporting halfbacks. He also asked me not to worry and just to play the way I can.
- Are such individual conversations with players usual for Oleh Blokhin?
- Yes, they are. He talks to defenders, halfbacks and forwards in turn.
- Did you feel nervous before the starting whistle?
- Of course! One can’t stay completely calm playing for such team as Dynamo Kyiv together with such teammates. You want to do your best to help your side win. But when I touched the ball my jitters was gone. I felt the support of more experienced players such as Andriy Yarmolenko and Yevhen Khacheridi.
- You were to substitute Denys Harmash. Did you cope with the task in a proper way?
- That’s up to the head coach to estimate my play. I think that at the moment Denys plays better than me, that’s why he is the first team regular. I still have much to learn.
- What were your main duties on the pitch?
- My task was to hold down Mariupol side counterattacks. But in the second half we had some problems with that.
- You also took part almost in every attack of your team. Is it usual for you?
- Every player wants to create attacks and I’m not an exception. Of course my passes are not always straight and I know that.
- What did Oleh Blokhin say about your debut?
- He just thanked us for the win. I don’t think we should be lauded for this game. Still we’ve earned three points which is very important for us at the moment. The head coach didn’t say anything about my play in particular.
- Are you ready to help your team in two next games?
- Of course I want to play. But it’s up to the head coach to decide whether I’m ready to help the team or not.
