- First of al I want to thank supporters. Todays game was a success. There were scoring chances, goal, and intensity. Our players have coped with the pressure. I’m thankful to them as they managed to recondition after the Europa League fixture against Steaua. They didn’t spare themselves.
- Why was Veloso among first eleven considering that you told that he lacks motivation?
- Miguel really didn’t have great desire to work after the World Cup, but I think this period is already over. I see fire in his eyes, but unfortunately he missed a major part of preparation for the season.
- After the game against Steaua Sydorchuk stated that Dynamo problems occur when opponents take set pieces. Has anything changed within such short period of time?
- The problem is that sometimes players that make substitute appearance don’t get what we explain them. Of course we focus performers’ attention on this aspect. Today everything was fine.
- Lucescu said that unfair red card has influenced the outcome of the match. Do you agree with him?
- For many seasons players of his team were rarely booked for any fouls, but today there were a lot of yellow cards. I’m glad that our players stayed calm though there were some really rough challenges from Shakhtar performers. I think Shevchuk deserved the red card. Personally I’ve never had claims to refereeing even when it was unfair.
- What about conditions of Makarenko and Khacheridi?
- As for Yevhen Makarenko, he has already returned to Kyiv after surgery. I’m glad that it was effective. I guess it will take him not less than three months to recover.
Speaking about Yevhen Khacheridi, he was injured for a long period of time and today he isn’t hundred per cent ready to work. I don’t want to risk his health.
- Will Mbokani really recondition quicker than it was expected?
- Our doctor is satisfied with his conditions. After international matches he’ll rejoin the team and undertake treatments here.
- Mircea Lucescu tried to accuse someone else of Shakhtar defeat and didn’t even talk to journalists. Thank you for your answers and congratulations on this victory!
- Believe me, coach that loses derby is always upset. I was also in bad humor when we lost the Ukrainian Super Cup. Still I found some words to say after that game. I guess it’s difficult for him to put up with this defeat.
