- I guess both variants are precocious. It was the decision of president of our club to put me in charge of the team till the end of the season and I’ll do my best to justify his confidence.
- Was your night telephone conversation with Ihor Surkis after the game against Shakhtar long?
- It lasted about one hour.
- What did you discuss?
- Work plan for the rest of the season. No matter what Dynamo must maintain the reputation. President asked us to stay the sole team and let players see the club they want to.
- What are your tasks for the rest of the season?
- We are to win every match left including the Ukrainian Cup semifinal and final, but first of all we must demonstrate such play which will make supporters believe in the team.
- Ihor Surkis stated that after the game against FC Karpaty Lviv he realized that battle for Premiership was over for Dynamo. When did you understand that?
- Valeriy Lobanovskyi always told us that it’s necessary to win every match particularly demonstrating professional attitude to work. We’ll do our best to fight for the title, but unfortunately it’s not all in our hands.
- What prevented Dynamo from playing worthy against Shakhtar in the last match?
- I guess we weren’t aggressive enough early in the game. After the break we played better. Maybe Belhanda’s substitute appearance became our enforcement.
- What will be your first steps as caretaker manager?
- First of all players must think whether they do their best to change the situation for better. I don’t want to blame anyone by name, but I hope our performers have understood what I said at the meeting and made conclusions. Only those who admit mistakes can move on.
- Do you count on becoming Dynamo head coach on a constant basis?
- At the moment I want to improve Dynamo play by the end of the season. As for my future… I’ve told our president that I realize what club I work for and what aims we have. Dynamo need experienced coach, but I’m ready to give the team my heart and soul. In summer Ihor Surkis will decide who the new head coach will be.
- Didn’t Miguel take the field against FC Shakhtar Donetsk because of the injury he suffered featuring against FC Karpaty Lviv?
- Actually he suffered an injury in the home match against FC Metalist Kharkiv and played in Lviv despite that.
- Can Rybka’s failures in recent matches influence his regular starting spot?
- We’ll see. I’ll discuss that with goalkeeper coach Mykhailo Mykhailov.
- What will be the true luck for Dynamo in matches left till the end of the season?
- We should rely not on luck, but on our skills, dedication and aggressive play. Players’ and coaches’ professional attitude to work is also vital.
