- How was the flight? Do you like the stadium built in 1959?
- I haven’t seen the stadium yet. Anyway Champions League games are always played at best European stadiums. It’s not about the arena itself, but about fans’ support. People love football in Naples and I’m sure players will feel that.
- Ihor Surkis has stated that your team needs fresh blood. Have his words changed players’ attitude to training process?
- He said that only yesterday. President’s opinion is very important. If player loses motivation – that’s his problem. I hope this month our performers will do their best to prove they deserve featuring for Dynamo.
- Did you have to search for special ways to motivate players before the game against Napoli?
- We’ll find proper words. It’s more difficult to switch to domestic league games after the Champions League. Players realize that if they don’t act as a sole team in the Champions League, opponents won’t forgive that. It’s important to resist Napoli pressure and demonstrate our football. I’m sure we can do that.
- A year and a half ago the situation was similar before the game against Fiorentina. Do you feel more confident this time?
- I feel okay as we’ve fulfilled the amount of work players need. They can use this or that information coaches give them, but what really matters is their willingness to play and their passion. Napoli apply very intensive pressure. I hope our performers understand that.
