- Benfica have good fitness and we hope so do Dynamo. What aspects will be vital in this situation?
- Our players deserved victories in recent games considering their dedication. Performers’ age doesn’t matter to me if they do their best on the field. Our youngsters did pretty well recently and used their chance. They inspire the whole team.
- 5:2, 4:1, is there a chance to win 0:3 in Lisbon?
- It’s a totally different competition. Best European teams perform in the Champions League. We must focus on every aspect of our play. We mustn’t be afraid to play football. I know we can do that. We can not only score, but defend with the whole lineup which will be important as we face Benfica.
- Benfica scored twice against Dynamo in Kyiv attacking through your left flank. Have you made conclusions?
- We’ve analyzed everything, but I never focus on individual mistakes. I don’t think only Antunes should be blamed for goals we conceded. The whole team and coach lost that game. I hope the situation will be different tomorrow.
- How important is the forthcoming game for Dynamo considering your position in group table?
- Having one point we must hope for win in every game. It’s also important to take into account what teams we oppose and pick proper game plan.
- Will it be a failure for you if Dynamo don’t get out of the group?
- Of course every team that performs in the Champions League has ambitious goals. We want to get out of the group and we still have a chance. We’ll keep fighting. If our fans see players’ dedication and we manage to win, everyone will be satisfied.
- Dynamo played faster in recent games. Is that about physical training or about psychology?
- First of all it’s about psychology. For example, in some games our team covered 107 km, but in the match against FC Karpaty Lviv we covered 122. That’s a great difference. Some players think there are teams that can be defeated easily, but we can’t win by just standing on the field. We must be aggressive and active.
