- We’ve won a very important game. Our performers acted with dedication as there was a full house at the stadium and millions of people supported us at their homes. I’m glad players have arranged a feast for fans and for themselves especially considering tough times our country goes through. I want to thank them for that.
- Dynamo attacked well, but conceded twice. How can you estimate your defense?
- We’ve won 5:2 and the whole team helped defenders. Everton are really good opponent. They used their attacking potential and created chances. That’s absolutely normal.
- Khacheridi personally opposed Lukaku. Are you satisfied with his play?
- Not only Khacheridi did that. Dragovic also opposed Lukaku sometimes. I think they played pretty well. Our defenders did their best on the field, but not only Dragovic and Khacheridi. The whole team helped them. Something went wrong, but that was the Europa League round of 16. We knew Everton wouldn’t try to preserve the score that was satisfactory for them.
- Can Teodorczyk be called Dynamo key striker now?
- We have three good high profile strikers. The one, who’s in better condition, takes the field. Kravets fulfilled the necessary amount of work after he made a substitute appearance. And why can’t Mbokani be called number one? He succeeded at the AFCON as his team reached the semifinal.
- It was Dynamo best game in five years. How did you get ready for this match from tactical point of view?
- We watched a lot of opponent’s matches. We analyze every team we face to chose proper tactics. It’s a very hard work.
- Will it be difficult to switch to domestic league after such victory?
- At first our players are to feature for their national teams. It’s always hard. After international matches some return with injuries or in bad mood.
- Isn’t Denys Harmash ready to play in such intense matches yet?
- Denys practically didn’t take part in our training camps. He’s still reconditioning. We can’t risk. We made substitutions as we had to defend orderly. As the final whistle was approaching players got tired.
- What team would you like to face in quarterfinal?
- I don’t know who’s reached this stage yet. We’ll deliver any opponent a battle.
