- It’s a two-match battle and we’ve played only its first half. We’ve analyzed Fiorentina game against Verona. Only several first team regulars took part in it. Tomorrow Italian side will demonstrate different play. They have a big group of high profile performers.
- Is Antunes ready for the game?
- He missed the game against FC Volyn Lutsk. Today he’ll train with the rest of the team. I hope he’ll be able to play.
- Maybe it would have been better for you as a coach if your players didn’t switch their maximal speed on in Lutsk. What are your performers’ physical conditions now?
- We must switch maximal speed on in each game. Our players demonstrated their character and pulled out the victory. Every match is important as we want to succeed in every competition. We must also prove that the goal Fiorentina scored in Kyiv was our mistake.
- Are Fiorentina the strongest rival you’ve faced as Dynamo head coach?
- FC Shakhtar Donetsk are also really good team. Fiorentina often face worthy opponents in the domestic league. That’s their advantage. In Ukrainian Premier League opponents usually focus on defense as they perform against Dynamo, Shakhtar or Dnipro. Anyway I’m sure our players will demonstrate their best qualities tomorrow.
- Five Dynamo players have bookings. Will you pay attention to that?
- Fortunately there are no referees like Shvetsov in Europe. I’m sure that players won’t think about that on the field. Everyone’s focused on victory.
- Dynamo play three away games in a row. Does it make you change training program?
- Our schedule is usual but for flights. We give players more time for reconditioning. It’s not really good that we are to play important game against Shakhtar two days after the match against Fiorentina, but there’s nothing we can do about that.
