- Serhiy, can three previous matches be called a warm-up before the first serious test – match against Dnipro?
- I don’t think so. Every previous game was difficult. Our opponents defend orderly and do their best opposing Dynamo. When we faced Chornomorets their youngsters demonstrated great dedication on the field. In some way it’s more difficult to perform against such teams than against Dnipro or Shakhtar. Anyway we must win and gain points. We do our job.
- Every previous game was more difficult than many people expected…
- We had only two and a half weeks to get ready for the season. Coaches say we’ll reach our best conditions by the fifth or sixth match. We just mustn’t lose points.
- They say that the gap between leaders and bottom-feeders has increased. Do you agree?
- A lot of teams have many Ukrainian youngsters, who do their best on the field, so it’s not easy to oppose them. Still Dynamo task is to win every game.
- Are Dnipro with and without Konoplianka two different teams?
- Of course Konoplianka is a high profile performer, but let’s recall the game in Kyiv. Though he didn’t play the match was difficult for us. So, it won’t be easy to perform against Dnipro without Konoplianka. Still we believe we’ll win if we fight one for all.
- Have you watched Dnipro matches this season?
- We haven’t watched their matches, but we know how they play, so we work on some schemes we’ll use. The game against Dnipro will show players’ readiness.
- Do rumors about possible transfer of Andriy Yarmolenko and other players influence atmosphere in the team?
- They don’t. We are professionals and we work as hard as possible at every training session.
